Operative Clauses

3. Risk of Loss: Owner acknowledges that boarding horses involves inherent risks of injury or death to the animal. Stable shall not be liable for any sickness, disease, theft, death, or injury to the Horse, or any other property of the Owner, arising from the boarding of the Horse, except in cases of gross negligence by the Stable.

4. Veterinary & Farrier Care: Owner is responsible for all veterinary and farrier costs. If the Horse requires emergency medical attention and Owner cannot be reached at [Phone Number], Stable is authorized to contact [Veterinarian Name] at [Vet Phone Number] to provide necessary care.

5. Vaccination & Health: Owner must provide proof of current vaccinations for [List Required Vaccines] prior to the Horse’s arrival. The Horse must be free of infectious or contagious diseases.

6. Termination: This agreement may be terminated by either party with [Number] days' written notice. If the Horse is removed prior to the end of the month, no pro-rated refund of boarding fees will be provided.
