4. Formulas & Calculation Logic
Production formulas utilize explicit range references. Replace Quotation_Ledger with your actual table range or named ranges.
1. Dynamic Base Price Retrieval (Item Catalog Lookup)
Pulls standard unit price from the Item Master based on SKU.
=XLOOKUP([@Item_SKU], Item_Master[SKU], Item_Master[Standard_Price], 0)
2. Final Unit Price Calculation
Applies discount structure while ensuring non-negative valuations.
=MAX(0, [@Base_Price] * (1 - [@Tier_Discount]))
3. Extended Line Total
Calculates total line item revenue.
=[@Quantity] * [@Final_Unit_Price]
4. Gross Margin Percentage
Computes unit-level gross profitability with division-by-zero protection.
=IF([@Final_Unit_Price]=0, 0, ([@Final_Unit_Price] - [@Unit_Cost]) / [@Final_Unit_Price])
5. Total Active Pipeline Value (Summary Metric)
Aggregates total value for all quotes currently in 'Issued' status.
=SUMIFS(Quotation_Ledger[Line_Total], Quotation_Ledger[Status], "Issued")
6. Margin Health Compliance Flag
Evaluates if line margin meets the corporate 30.0% minimum threshold.
=IF([@Margin_Pct] >= 0.3, "PASS", "FAIL - LOW MARGIN")
