2.4 Acceleration. Upon the occurrence of an Event of Default, the Lender may, at its option, declare the entire unpaid Principal Amount and all accrued interest immediately due and payable, without notice or demand.

FOR LENDER: Signature: _____________________________________ Printed Name: [Authorized Signatory Name] Title: [Title / Role] Date: [Date]
4. STEP-BY-STEP EXECUTION & FILING GUIDE
- Preparation (Word/Docs): Copy the text above into a word processor. Replace all bracketed information (e.g.,
[Borrower Full Legal Name]) with actual party details. Ensure all currency formatting is double-checked for accuracy. - Verification of Authority: Ensure the individual signing for the Borrower/Lender has the corporate or legal authority to bind the entity to a debt obligation. Confirm this via corporate resolution or bylaws if necessary.
- Execution (Digital/Hard Copy):
- Digital: Upload the finalized document to a platform like DocuSign, Adobe Sign, or HelloSign to capture legally binding electronic signatures.
- Hard Copy: Print two original copies. Both parties must initial each page and sign the final signature block in blue ink.
- Notarization (Recommended): While not always required for simple notes, having the document notarized provides a "self-authenticating" status, which is highly beneficial in court proceedings.
- Record Retention: Store the executed original in a secure, fireproof location. Provide a signed copy to the opposing party immediately upon execution. Maintain this record for at least seven (7) years following the date of full satisfaction of the debt.
