EXHIBIT A: THE RESEARCH PROPOSAL (APA STYLE EXAMPLE)

(Note: The following content is the technical deliverable required by the Scope of Services, formatted according to APA 7th Edition standards.)

[Title of Research Proposal: The Impact of Remote Work on Organizational Commitment]

[Student/Lead Researcher Name]
[Department Name, Institutional Affiliation]
[Course Number: Course Name]
[Instructor Name]
[Date]

Abstract
This research proposal outlines a quantitative study designed to examine the correlation between remote work frequency and organizational commitment among mid-level managers in the technology sector. Using a cross-sectional survey design, the study aims to utilize the Three-Component Model (TCM) of commitment. Data will be analyzed via multiple regression to determine if perceived autonomy mediates the relationship. Expected results aim to inform HR policy in post-pandemic workplace transitions.

Introduction
The shift toward distributed workforces has fundamentally altered the psychological contract between employer and employee (Smith, 2022). While remote work offers flexibility, its long-term effects on affective commitment remain under-researched. The problem addressed by this study is the potential erosion of organizational culture in virtual environments.

Methodology
Participants: A purposive sample of $N=200$ participants will be recruited via LinkedIn ProFinder.
Instruments: Organizational commitment will be measured using the Allen and Meyer (1990) TCM scale.
Procedure: Participants will complete a 15-minute Likert-scale survey hosted on Qualtrics.
