Enterprise_PO_Master_Control.xlsx. - Navigate to Data > Get Data > From File > From Text/CSV.
- Select your exported CSV file. In the import wizard, verify that comma delimiters are selected and data types map accurately (dates as Date, numeric values as Currency/Decimal).
- Click Load to import data starting at cell
A1on Sheet 1 (rename sheet toPO_Master).
Step 3: Importing into Google Sheets
- Navigate to Google Drive, click New > Google Sheets, and title the document
Enterprise_PO_Master_Control. - Go to File > Import, select the Upload tab, and drag the CSV file into the browser window.
- Select Replace current sheet as the import location, set Separator type to Detect automatically, and click Import data.
Step 4: Applying Formulas and Validation Rules
- In cell
I2of your sheet, enter the formula=G2*H2and drag down throughI15. - In cell
L2, enter the formula=(I2*(1+J2))+K2and drag down throughL15to compute net totals. - Highlight columns
D(Department) andE(Category), navigate to Data > Data Validation, and set criteria to List of items, pasting the comma-separated strings defined in Section 4. - Highlight column
M(Status) and add a dropdown list containing:Pending, Approved, Invoiced, Closed, Rejected.
Step 5: Constructing the KPI Dashboard Tab
- Insert a new worksheet and name it
