  1. Open this template in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or an equivalent word processor.
  2. Search and replace all bracketed placeholder text (e.g., [Borrower Full Legal Name], [Amount in USD], [Interest Rate Percentage]) with the accurate transaction details.
  3. Verify that the selected interest rate complies with Arizona state usury caps (A.R.S. § 44-1201) and that the governing county under Section 9.2 matches your operational intent.
  4. Delete all instructional brackets, administrative notes, and unused optional sections (such as unselected security clauses).

Step 2: Signatory Authority Verification

  1. For Individuals: Ensure the individual signing as Maker is the named borrower with proper identification.
  2. For Corporate Entities / LLCs: Verify through corporate resolutions, operating agreements, or bylaws that the designated officer (e.g., President, Managing Member, CEO) possesses explicit legal authority to incur debt on behalf of the entity.

Step 3: Execution via Digital Signature or Wet Ink

  1. Digital Execution (Recommended): Upload the finalized document into an institutional e-signature platform such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign. Configure routing fields for the Maker and Holder. Ensure authentication measures (e.g., email verification, SMS authentication) are active.
