SECTION II: CANVA ASSET LICENSE & COMPLIANCE

License Scope: Where the Host utilizes Canva-generated templates for the Conference Agenda, marketing materials, or slide decks, the Host warrants it holds the appropriate commercial or enterprise license. Participants utilizing Canva assets provided by the Host are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use said assets solely for the presentation associated with the Conference.
  2. Prohibited Modifications: Participants shall not alter, strip, or bypass the licensing metadata of any Canva Asset, nor shall they use official Conference Canva Assets for unauthorized commercial promotion outside the scope of [Conference Name].
  3. Third-Party Fonts & Elements: The Participant assumes full legal liability for any third-party fonts, music, or stock imagery imported into Canva templates that exceed standard licensing agreements.

SECTION III: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & PUBLICITY

  1. Grant of Rights: Participant grants the Host a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to record, broadcast, reproduce, and distribute the Participant’s likeness, presentation materials, and associated Canva-rendered slides in any media format now known or hereafter devised.
  2. Warranties: Participant warrants that all content presented within their designated agenda slot does not infringe upon the copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.

SECTION IV: INDEMNIFICATION & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  1. Indemnity: Participant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Host, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, as well as Canva Pty Ltd (where applicable regarding platform misuse), from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of Participant's breach of this Agreement, unauthorized use of design assets, or infringing presentation content.
  2. Limitation of Liability: In no event shall the Host be liable to the Participant for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, arising out of schedule modifications, technical failures, or Canva platform outages.

SECTION V: GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
